In addition to common shares and preferred shares, Lifeco and its subsidiaires have issued debentures and capital trust securities which are currently outstanding.

Debentures
Lifeco has issued four senior debentures with a face amount of $1.06 billion. In addition, The Canada Life Assurance Company has issued three subordinated debentures with a face amount of $550 million.

Capital Trust Securities
Great-West Life Capital Trust has issued face value $350 million of securities ("GREATs"). Canada Life Capital Trust has issued two tranches of securities ("CLICS") with a face value $300 million Series A and a face value $150 million Series B.
