Great-West Lifeco's U.S. Subsidiary Completes Acquisition of
Allmerica Group Life and Health Business
WINNIPEG, March 1 /CNW/ - Great-West Lifeco Inc. today announced that
its U.S. subsidiary, Great-West Life & Annuity Insurance Company of Denver,
Colorado, has completed the acquisition of Allmerica Financial Corporation's
group life and health business.
Great-West Life & Annuity, with 6,800 employees, provides a full range
of group life, health and financial products to 4.6 million Americans.
The company is also a recognized leader in administering tax-qualified
annuities for public/non-profit customers.
