A message to our customers about the coronavirus
At Great-West Lifeco, the health and well-being of our employees, advisors and customers is always our top priority. I want you to know that we are actively monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and that we are taking this situation very seriously. We fully recognize that our company has an important role to play during this trying time.
I want to share with you some steps we are taking to promote social distancing in the countries we have operations in to help keep our team and our advisors safe, while we continue to meet the needs of our customers.
Protecting our people: Our employees and advisors are at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to taking care of them. We have significant work from home capacity across our companies and have expanded this to enable a majority of employees to do so. For roles where work from home is not possible, we’ve modified the work environment for those employees to protect their health and safety. At this time, business travel by air or train is not permitted. We are leveraging our technology by conducting meetings and business through teleconferencing and videoconferencing.
Meeting your needs: Our companies remain open for business and we are taking steps to continue to serve and support our customers, employees and advisors as this situation evolves. We are communicating regularly with customers to provide information about COVID-19 and how it impacts financial markets and your products.
